How to use an invisible name

1. Tap Copy next to Hangul Filler (U+3164). It is the blank character that works in the most apps.
2. Open the rename box in your game or app and paste. The name field looks empty, but it contains a character.
3. If the app says the name is too short, use Make a blank name of any length to copy 3–5 blanks at once.
4. If it is rejected, try the next blank in the list. Different apps block different characters.

Why ordinary spaces don't work

Apps remove normal spaces from the start and end of a name, so a name made only of spaces becomes empty and gets rejected. The characters on this page are letters in Unicode that happen to have no visible shape. The Hangul Filler, for example, is a real Korean character used for typing, so most apps treat it as text and keep it.

Which blank works where?

Apps update their filters, so test a blank before paying for a rename. In Free Fire and PUBG a rename costs diamonds, UC or a rename card, so a 10-second test saves you real money.

Almost-invisible names

Some players prefer a name that is nearly empty, with a single symbol floating in blank space, such as ㅤ亗ㅤ or ㅤツㅤ. Tap any of them above to copy. You can also build your own: copy a blank, then add a symbol from our symbols page.

Good to know

• Some games show a blank name as "Player" or your ID number to other players.
• Invisible names can be confusing in team chat. Many players switch to a short stylish Free Fire name or PUBG name later.
